Furniture...
Many of you have encouraged me to branch out a bit beyond the constraints of building only planter boxes. Some suggested I make furniture and create wall hangings, and I thought both were great ideas.
With regard to my tables specifically, I like to emphasize a rugged, rough-hewn look married with bold design and colorful glass mosaics. (And until such time I accumulate enough inventory to justify building a new site(s), this is where they'll be offered, for now.)

Nayade coffee table
Materials: Solid Redwood (frame, legs), 5/8" plywood (top)
Dimensions: 34.5" square x 18.5"h
I was looking for ways to upgrade the appearance of my furniture offerings and ran across this OUTSTANDING! family of tile mosaics by Dune. But the cost about knocked me off my feet at $35 per 12" x 12" sheet! So, after pondering the notion that I'll have over $180 in materials alone on this piece, I still wanted to pursue it -- even if it didn't sell. It's lines and overall design were too cool, too unique, too powerful to remain confined to paper - this table had to be built.
Features include: silver inlayed floral periphery and leg spines; slotted, 1.5" thick, beveled top; accent lines througout; detachable cross-set legs with gliders; and ...the coolest mosaic tiling I've ever seen! (It's tough to see from these photos, but roughly 20% of the tiles have unique, textured icons/designs on top. Note: This table has a "twin", the d'Anconia (also listed), from the same tile family.
I pay close attention to the lumber I select for each piece. The wood grain, trueness, and color have to be just right. Also, where's the hardware? Unless I have specific aesthetic reasons to do so, I take great care in hiding necessary fasteners such as nails, dowels, staples and screws. (Price includes shipping within continental U.S.)
** Some assembly required (legs). SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA residents are encouraged to pick up locally for a lower cost (-$175). I can also deliver... fee to be determined. **

Time Traveler coffee table
Materials: Western Red Cedar (top frame), Redwood (texture), 1/4"t beveled glass top. Dimensions: 37" square x 18.5"h
After having worked with a similar texture for the "Americana" planter box, I hadn't got my fill of using this AWESOME staggered "checkerboard" look. This texture takes much more time to create versus others but the results are worth it -- you can actually see grain patterns through the paint! The "deep space" center is 2" lower than the edges, creating a 3-D feel. It also features a prominent, 5" wide, dark cedar border, and a 1/4" thick, beveled glass top.
I spent many hours trying to design just the right "look" for the legs and undercarriage and I think I nailed it. In my opinion, the "iron cross" lower support beams complete this piece perfectly. Made from Western Red Cedar, this table is very sturdy, level, and sure to add warmth to anyone's home.
A cool added feature is an intense, battery-operated, LED light that beams upward through the table center's "X", but only when wanted (via a hidden, ON/OFF button mounted on the side.) (Price includes shipping within continental U.S.)
** This table is HEAVY! The legs are fixed-in-place, so no assembly is required. SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA residents are encouraged to pick up locally for a lower cost (-$175). I can also deliver... fee to be determined. **
