Tapered Squares...
These stylish tapered planters are made of naturally decay-resistant redwood or cedar,
so they'll continue to look beautiful for years to come. Midway between the right-angled "boxes" and the more complex hexagonal designs, I wanted to produce bold, compelling looks through the use of color, shape, and especially texture.
Of course, I could simplify some of these styles aesthetically or use fewer materials, but good design and build quality are my highest priorities and I simply won't compromise those aspects of my work. Feel free to shop around, you won't find better built, more stylish tapered flower boxes than these.

"Americana" tapered square planter box
This texture took much more time to create versus others but the results were worth it! I usually don't paint over redwood because it's too good looking on its own. However, I tried something new and I'm pleased with the results. If you look closely, you can actually see grain patterns through the paint.

"Starbuck" tapered square planter box
This model is where it all started and I think I've finally got the desired look nailed down. Of course, I didn't 'hit-the-mark' right away, my home is littered with early prototypes of all styles that just didn't make the grade.
